Enter your parts and your sheet size. The page lays them out on as few sheets as it can, draws every sheet with sizes and labels, and lists the saw cuts in order. Inches with fractions like 23 5/8, or metric. It runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded.
Edge trim is removed from all four edges of every sheet. Sheet width runs along the grain; a part with Rot unchecked keeps its width along it.
This page does what the free app does: up to 20 part rows, one sheet size, the full layout with labels, sizes and cut order. The Android app adds saved projects and a PDF with the label and size printed on every part, and works offline with a keypad made for fractions.
Coming soon to Google PlayThe layout uses a guillotine method: every cut runs edge to edge, as on a table saw or panel saw. The page runs the same packer under many sort orders, fit rules and split rules and keeps the result that leaves the least unplaced area, then the fewest sheet area, sheets and cuts. Check the plan before you cut expensive material.
