Privacy Policy for Polar Align

Polar Align is published on Google Play by DEMETIO, JSC. ("we").

What we collect. Nothing. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It does not send anything you enter to us or to anyone else.

Location. If you tap "Use my location once", the app asks Android for your approximate location once, to fill in latitude and longitude. This happens only when you tap. The coordinates are used on your phone to compute where Polaris is, and are never sent anywhere. You can type coordinates by hand and never grant the permission.

What stays on your device. Your observing sites and settings are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them.

Purchases. The optional one-time Pro upgrade is handled by Google Play under Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We receive no card or payment details. The app only asks Google Play whether Pro was purchased on your account.

Children. The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Changes. If this changes, we will update this page and the date above before shipping the new version.
